The idea for our collection was born on a rainy December evening back in 2011, when three friends gathered in a villa on the outskirts of Rome to discuss future plans, new strategies for developing their investment business, and ways to achieve their set goals. It’s worth mentioning that the conversation flowed smoothly in a friendly atmosphere over a glass of aged red wine.
“Time flies so quickly,” one of them remarked, gazing at the oily tears slowly sliding down the sides of the glass. “It wasn’t so long ago that this wine was new to the market and cost next to nothing. And today, just try finding it. And if you do, imagine the price you’d have to pay for it.” Ivan was a true connoisseur of wine and knew his way around it.
“Wine can, in fact, be considered a
sound investment,”
added the more pragmatic Alejandro, “given the steady increase in its value over time. But the real challenge is knowing which wines, out of the vast available selection, are the right ones to invest in. Not all wines have that kind of potential, after all. Plus, wine is a finicky product; it demands certain conditions for proper aging.”

Mikhail, the most creative and visionary of the group, swirled the wine in his glass and took in its aroma.
“Why don’t we start our own collection? One that could enhance our investment portfolio?”
The friends agreed that combining their expertise in asset management with the skills of professional oenologists and sommeliers, whose daily work is evaluating wine, could be the key to success. These experts could assess the aging potential of wines and predict which ones would only improve with time. "And Moldova would be the suitable country," said Ivan - being born there. Nature itself lends a hand to Moldovan winemakers, providing them with endless galleries hidden deep underground.
Where the Sarmatian Sea once was, now lies a “sea” of wine. The old limestone quarries near the village of Mileștii Mici, close to Chișinău, with their high humidity and constant temperatures of +12/+14 degrees Celsius, provide the perfect conditions for aging wine in optimal conditions. At a depth of 80 meters underground, wines slowly mature, enhancing their organoleptic qualities: aromas blend into bouquets, tannins soften and round out, becoming „wiser”

Even Soviet technologists Sobolev and Unguryanu noted the beneficial effect of aging wine in cellars on its longevity. Starting in the 1960s, they began laying down the best vintages for long-term storage in a collection. Over the years, the “Golden Collection” would bring fame to our republic, earning a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. That’s why our team decided to invest in the finest wines produced during Soviet times, viewing them as part of our country’s cultural heritage, alongside wines crafted by modern technologists, who benefit from the latest equipment and the expertise gained during internships in France, Italy, Germany, and other renowned wine regions. Our wines can grace any table and win the heart of even the most discerning wine enthusiast. But there’s no rush to open them. Leave them to wait in the quiet of the cellar, biding their time. They make the perfect gift for a respected person or a piece of heritage to pass down to future generations.
